Many of the images available in my portfolio are previous commissions from as far back as 1994

I still take on commissions today from images people supply via the internet or by sending me photographs. Commissions can take any form. View all of the images in the Gallery to see that I will sketch, draw, illustrate, paint or digitally create any subject on pretty much any scale, within reason and on availability of the chosen ground and medium.

If photographs are old, black and white or even damaged, I may still be able to reproduce images from them. Images of, for example, individual cats, can be put into one painting. Deceased pets can be ‘brought to life’ by way of a colourful painting.

Although I do not specialise in the human portrait, I consider all projects.

I teach art part time with sixteen years of experience. Lessons cover all aspects of drawing and painting on a traditional theme but can diversify to cover contemporary techniques and understanding. Any work considered, commissions, part or full time employment, employed or freelance. Flexible working hours, can work to tight deadlines and post work directly and quickly using secure postal methods, or e-mail if applicable.

Work carried out using; pencil or pen and ink, watercolour, acrylic, oil on board, canvas or paper, chalk pastel, mixed mediums including coloured pencils, inks and pastels, enamel and/or spray colours, wall murals in emulsions and other household paint products, software images digitally produced including and/or emitting original artwork for posters, advertisements or anything else considered. Painting onto furniture, objects such as motorbike gas tanks, tattoo design, cards and craft objects all considered projects.

Whoever sets the commission sees the work before full payment is made although a 25% deposit is required in most instances for the purchase of items needed for the job. There is no limit to the size or volume of work I am prepared to carry out. I can take photographs of subjects if the customer has no existing images (within reason). Will travel to teach, lecture and give visual demonstrations at any venue.
